Weekend numbers pg 12: Ouija 20.0M

Recommended Posts

Film theory predicts:

Ouija - 26M

John Wick - 16M

That's actually some solid predicts this week. I guess they're right twice a year  :P really, what I would expect for both. Of course, October 31 is going to be a BO wasteland if both open under $25 million.

Then BH6 and Interstellar manage to gross $140-160 million combined the following weekend

The legend spatula is here. Any Friday numbers?

It's still early but:

Ouija matinees are essentially identical to Carrie at this point

John Wick looks strong right now and is nearly doubling Ouija matinees but that is to be expected since Ouija is a teen horror/thriller and won't start taking off until late in the day.

But John Wick is capable of maintaining a lead, yes?

Curious as to what theory you're utilizing for Wick.

If it follows the trend of fellow recent October R-rated action release Escape Plan, it could see 30m.

It's not my predicts lolol

It's some high school kids who I'm still in contact with whose class comes with a consensus predict :P
