iceroll
How odd that Rth and Spatula both show up this weekend, when the numbers are so uninteresting haha.
baumer
The numbers are very interesting imo. Id love to see Ouija do north of 20 and Wick do more than 15.
baumer
You're assuming that Ouija is locked for 20M. Fury could drop to about $16M and still potentially be #1. Not a chance Fury would be number one.
Jay Beezy
Close now. Was hoping for higher but John Wick could take the weekend even if it doesn't take Friday.
Jandrew
Close now. Was hoping for higher but John Wick could take the weekend even if it doesn't take Friday. Impressive for a movie that didnt exist 3 months ago.

Jandrew
Am i the only one that no matter how hard they try, cant stop pronouncing "Ouija" as "OOH-JAH" Stop.
warriors1965
Anyone seen Ouija yet? Is it the least bit spooky/scary?
MrPink
Yeah, I'm thinking Keanu is back. John Wick reminded me of Max Payne 3, minus the bleakness and Max having the most miserable life possible + wall hacks that allow him to know where every enemy is coming from. And that's a complete compliment.

baumer
I dont see how Ouija misses winning the weekend. Theres no reason for it to dtop on Saturday.
grim22
The Indian box office Opening Day record was just smashed today. "Happy New Year" beat the old record by almost 20-25% according to the trade websites. The show I went to today was pretty full as well, wonder if it can get a 3 Million dollar opening weekend in the US.
baumer
Does Dewali have anything to do with how well it opened in India, Grim?
Wrath
How odd that Rth and Spatula both show up this weekend, when the numbers are so uninteresting haha. Well, October has been surprisingly interesting as far as Octobers go.
grim22
Does Dewali have anything to do with how well it opened in India, Grim? Yup, it is like a Christmas opening in the US. Diwali, Eid and Christmas are the 3 biggest times in India for movies which is why the 3 Khans open their movies only at those times.
Mockingjay Raphael
I hope that Ouija can finish the weekend in #1. It will be great see another horror movie having success, after so many flops this year..
