Knight of Cups | March 4 2016 | Terrance Malick, Bale, Portman, Blanchett

Recommended Posts

Mmmmh a voice over citing psalms or poetry warning us mere mortals about the lack of sense and meaning of hedonism.

Really wonder what will be the moral point of view of Mr Malick because he channels his inner Spring Breakers here and I am not sure the guy who constantly looks up in the sky agrees with this lifestyle.

Movie could be a boring moral lesson for the dumb.

At Least, as usual, it will still look really pretty.

By this point the movie's gonna be 100% different than the one in the trailer. Christian Bale might no longer be in it!

This would be funny if it weren't so true.

But whatever...this is a strange world where...

This movie also marks the point where somehow...Terence Malick has managed to catch up to James Cameron in number of movies made and released. No, I'm not counting those damn IMAX documentaries. Or Pirahna 2.

Everybody should check out his first three flicks. That right there is the greatest 1-2-3 combo any director has ever pulled off, alongside QT's first three.

Badlands was fine. Stopped about 30 minutes into Days of Heaven because I was bored out of my mind.
