Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Julianne Moore in Best Actress. riczhang Posted December 2, 2014 Share Posted December 2, 2014 The only thing I think that we get out of that is that Birdman is very weak amongst the NY critics (and that could be pointing out an underlying problem with the movie that there is no passion). It is extremely surprising that Keaton wasn't even in top 4 for the win, when almost everyone thought that he would be the NY winner.
