Ezen Baklattan Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 I'm guessing it's Synecdoche, New York. Not from the decade, but I still think he'd go with Killer Joe.
Empire Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 The Fault In Our Stars (C+), Mockingjay Part 1 (B-), and Transformers are probably his top three films. Almost guaranteed to be in his top five. Transformers didn't come out this decade.
Ethan Hunt Posted December 23, 2014 Author Posted December 23, 2014 Transformers didn't come out this decade. I assumed he was referring to Dark of the Moon.
Empire Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 I assumed he was referring to Dark of the Moon. Could be, I guess.
Ethan Hunt Posted December 23, 2014 Author Posted December 23, 2014 46. X-Men: First Class Speaking of movies with great endings, this film has one hell of a third act- both emotional and wildly entertaining. THe film also features a strong ensamble cast. 8
CoolioD1 Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 I might do one. I think it'll be more interesting to do this than just a 2014 list. 1
Ethan Hunt Posted December 23, 2014 Author Posted December 23, 2014 is there a list of people to come? After me it's going to be Spaghetti, then Panda, then you, then Baumer, and then CoolioD1 if he ends up doing one. This is the order I think we're going in. 3
Kalo Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 how do I get added to that list? but I was planning at top 100 movies of first half of the decade.
Ethan Hunt Posted December 23, 2014 Author Posted December 23, 2014 how do I get added to that list? but I was planning at top 100 movies of first half of the decade. OK, I'll add you and then put the list in the first post. 1
Ethan Hunt Posted December 23, 2014 Author Posted December 23, 2014 45. The Croods Yep. Nicholas Cage is awsome in this movie. So are Ema Stone and Ryan Rynolds. The animations are pretty. It's pretty funny at times. the film is a little cliche. The ending did nearly make me cry the first time I saw it. 2
CoolioD1 Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 Since its his list and not yours why should he care that u care? If he didn't want people to give a shit he wouldn't have made a thread about it.
75Live Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 (edited) Since its his list and not yours why should he care that u care? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mG5v2udwOPY I'm with you baumer, but I just had to post that I am probably going to disagree with most of Ethan's list, but I am interested to see how it goes Edited December 23, 2014 by 75live
Ethan Hunt Posted December 23, 2014 Author Posted December 23, 2014 I lied I've got nothing better to do so I'm doing more.
Ethan Hunt Posted December 23, 2014 Author Posted December 23, 2014 44. Now You See Me I'll be completly honest, I find this film disapointing. It could have been so much more but oh.. well. The cast is great, I love me some Eisenberg. The magic is cool though I really wish they would have gone deeper in explaing how the "magic" works. Fun movie, some may complain about the twist I think it;'s harmless 3
Ethan Hunt Posted December 23, 2014 Author Posted December 23, 2014 43. Thor: The Dark World I know this one is one I might get some flack for putting on here. What can I say though, this gilm plays out like a Saturday morning cartoon. Darcy is hillarious. I like Loki much better in the anti-hero role than I did in the villan role. 2
Wormhole Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 Like both those films so far. but I actually thought Prince Caspian was a little better then Down Treader. Prince Caspian imo was waaaaay better than Dawn Treader. How badly they botched Dawn Treader should be criminal. 2
baumer Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 FIOS would make my 50 best of the decade thus far too.
Kalo Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 FIOS would make my 50 best of the decade thus far too. Just misses mine.
