23. The Goonies

For some reason, this mid-80s Spielberg-esque effort is beloved and adored by every kid who grew up in the '80s. Everyone except me. It's okay, but nothing that special, and nothing really that other movies in that era did better. Even as a kid, willing to like pretty much everything, I didn't think it was all that.

There is something very wrong with this. In what universe are you a kid in the 80s, Tele?

This list breaking my heart. I have never in my life not finished a movie no matter how bad. Now Blade Runner like it or not deseves you to finish it. How can you grade a movie you haven't watched?

Also the bond statement is beyond crazy. After hearing the Blade Runner part im willing to bet that you haven't even seen all the Bonds from start to finish.

I just watched all 23 Bonds in order and its IMPOSSIBLE to think GoldenEye is really anything different than the previous besides the special effects. It is like the other 16 Bonds before it. It doesn't break the mold. Look at pacing, characters, storylines, villians, there is nothing about it new or fresh really compared to the other Bonds. its simply well done and the tone fit the times.GoldenEye is really a Connery Bond with 90's effects. Its a better bond but to say the others sucked I can only assume is that the movies are too old/dated for you to connect with.

25. Superman I and II

"You'll believe a man can fly!"breathlessly promised the tagline. Eh, maybe back in the 70s, but even to a kid growing up in the 80s the VFX were already fairly dated. There's a nice laid-back feel to the first 40 minutes of SUPERMAN I (after the silly Krypton stuff), but the whole thing is pretty light-weight, and so corny as well. Christopher Reeve still does the best mix of Clark Kent and Supes, but the script doesn't give him much to do and the drama and tension is really inert. The whole "kiss everything away" moment in SUPERMAN II is just awful, and really, most of both movies basically play like the "dark Spiderman" bit from Raimi's reviled SM3 (except done seriously).

Get out. Do not pass Go. Do not collect $200.
