Jake Gittes
A great saying: "Good composers borrow, great composers steal." All artists, not just composers.
baumer
I've retained none of this film. May be one of the year's biggest disappointments. That's because clearly you hate movies.
Avatree
Gopher is right as usual. Half an hour after watching Sicario I had forgotten most of it. I still have no idea what the plot was. In one ear, out the other, totally forgettable movie. Part way through the film I spent a few minutes looking at the walls and floor of the cinema, as it was much more interesting and engaging than the movie.

TStechnij
Wow. This was sort of a mess. Lots of great parts but could never come together and be great.

Just what I want to see as I'm sitting in the theater, haha. Hopefully it lives up to my expectations.

I very much wanted to love it, but it never works for me. I'm sure you'll think differently. Most do.

Jack Nevada
My take on Sicario: meh, it's alright.
Dementeleus
I've retained none of this film. May be one of the year's biggest disappointments. Exact opposite for me. I've been thinking about it since I saw it.
kowhite
That's because clearly you hate movies. At least the good ones. I had an interesting conversation with someone on the film...they were saying things they didn't like. A protagonist who didn't really...do much to drive the story. Her lack of real character study. How the film was really about Benecio, but didn't put that front. And I'm like...I agree those things happened. But I disagree those are faults. Jayhawk the Hutt
That was awesome. Best movie of the year for me on first blush. Del Toro and Blunt were great. So tense and atmospheric. Very excited for Blade Runner 2 now.
Jayhawk the Hutt
The best part is I went in almost completely fresh. I think I watched the trailer once and didn't read any reviews. Saw a few TV spots as well, but those were unavoidable. Definitely ehanced the experience.

Avatree
Yeah, seeing a movie without knowing anything about it is great. There have been a few movies this year where I went in without seeing a trailer, cast list, plot synopsis etc. - I literally only knew the film title. And they've been the most enjoyable experiences in the cinema so far.
kowhite
I'll just say... Blade Runner 2? I'm very optimistic. Doesn't even bother me that I didn't like Enemy, cause that was an engaging movie til I found out what was going on. This director is one to watch. Avatree
I haven't liked any of Villeneuve's movies. And I don't want a sequel to Blade Runner.
