CoolioD1
updated my own predictions in the game for probs the last time. pretty much entirely playing it safe everywhere because who the hell knows. except i'm predicting an eddie redmayne snub. well, a snub implies he deserves it and was denied, so I'm predicting him to not get nominated.

You mean you don't think the Academy will go for the groundbreaking and brave moment where Eddie imagines he has a vagina by tucking his penis between his legs?... The Danish Girl really does deserve no nominations though so yeah. Never in a million years thought a movie about a man having his dick cut off could elicit no reaction of any kind from the audience but Tom Hooper sure proved me wrong there. Congrats! Ezen Baklattan
I guess my boldest call is no Fassbender. Idk
WrathOfHan
My "risky predictions": Sicario, SOC, and Carol take up the last 3 spots (plus the 5 locks and BOS in 6th) Bryan Cranston and Steve Carell get in over Redmayne Emily Blunt Benicio Del Toro No Hateful Eight in Screenplay (though not sure if it's really risky)
CoolioD1
also I wouldn't be surprised if damon or cranston is the one to miss out either. leo's the only definite in that category for me. If Carell were really happening then I feel like SAG should've been an easy get for him. Fassbender is probably the closest thing to a #2 this whole season to DiCaprio's #1 (and probably would be winning if his movie hadn't been such an underperformer).

Blankments
My weirdest calls are probably Creed getting three noms (compared to just one), Trainwreck getting in for Screenplay, and double Vikander nom.
filmlover
I won't be shocked at all if The Hateful Eight misses Original Score given that it uses pre-existing material, and rather prominently too (such as the piece from The Thing). Impact
My boldest I guess is Inside Out as a alt for picture and no Room for picture. As well as Emily Blunt after I was told it be a good idea to replace Lawrence with her. Check the first page of the Oscar prediction game for my predicts (as well as my nom count further down) I might update it one more time. The Panda
My "Bold" guesses SoC, Sicario and Inside Out for Picture Carell over Redmayne for Actor Blunt and Vikander in lead (over Rampling and Lawrence) Vikander in supportin for Machina Del Torro in supporting actor No Hateful eight for screenplay (compton and ex Machina instead) Martian over Carol in cinematography Edited January 13, 2016 by The Panda
Ezen Baklattan
Bold Predicts Fassbender and Vikander get snubbed. No Nominations for Ex Machina SOC up for Picture and Screenplay
CoolioD1
I have compton in for picture and nothing else. figure it'll happen eventually w/ the expanded line-up. like selma, that's gonna make the tokenism of the choice feel more apparent. I remember saying in 2010 that its possible that could happen as well as a film nominated for director without a bp nom (like Mulholland Drive in 2001 probably would of not been nominated for BP but had a BD nom) and people laughed at me when I said that. Too bad I can never bump that post.
