If I'm not mistaken The force awakens had made $821m overseas until Thursday, so TFA did something around the $100m overseas this weekend not $104m, these ER numbers seem wrong.

Sadly, I do not think it will reach Titanic WW :(

IMHO, it will need over 1 billion DOM to beat Titanic. Maybe 1.04-1.05 billion.

Hobbit 1 was at $562.8m, coming off a $58m 4th weekend OS.

It ended its run with $668.4m OS, excluding China, which is a total-after-4th-weekend-to-total multiplier of 1,19.

Applying that to TFA: $868.7m * 1,19 = $1033m

Hmm, it's gonna be close either way...

ER is not wrong, that's the official studio estimate. Some of the thursday grosses are included in the weekend since in many countries the box office weekend begins on a thursday.

So, 1.033 billion without China. Adding maybe 130-140 from China, we have 1.163-1.173 billion. So, it still need over 1 billion DOM. My problem is that I see extremely hard to reach the billion DOM. I wish I am wrong, but I think this will barely pass the 2.1 billion mark.
