What? I know they got a lot repeat viewers that's why I used them as an example.

Read your comment wrong. But yeah, on an IMAX screen the war scenes look really good. The story itself is pretty taxing but since it didn't go deep into a PTSD examination, the movie doesn't feel dour, it can definitely be rewatched.

So who's doing GOT this weekend?

Not me (that event will obviously not happen over here), but I might go to the comedy event of the year Mortdecai (or Theory of Everything or Whiplash, I have to look at my schedule to see if I have the free time required).

Wow, AS actually not acting like a phenomenon for one day. Maybe a bigger drop than we think this weekend? It is SB weekend.

We'll probably see a better than usual weekend (at least Friday and Saturday) given the snowstorm.

45% drop for $35-36m

IS warranted repeat viewings?

:P

Well, I had to watch it like five times to piece together the experience like a mosaic because I kept falling into a deep hyper-sleep. Does that count? :P I'm not positive whether I've seen the whole thing yet, but the EMTs who kept waking me told me to stop wasting their time and go watch something else. ;)

AS has already sold more tickets during the month of January than any other film except Titanic and Avatar.

Tootsie and Meet the Fockers are the only other movies whose January calendar admissions adjust to over $150 million.
