The Panda
With the exception of an unnecessary pirates repeat and Star Trek 09 these are good inclusions.

4815162342
51. Transformers (2007) Original Music by Steve Jablonsky 227 Points Top 10 Placements: 2 Top 5 Placements: 2 #1 Placements: 1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WEL5atUKRZQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4H0JDomv8ac I'm gonna let Ethan and James defend this inclusion this high up. I kid, I kid, it's actually a score that has some pretty good cues and tracks, but there's also a bit too much clanging metal and sturm and drang for my taste. Steve Jablonsky knows how to turn a good theme and it does show in the samples posted. How much you like the rest of the music depends on how much you like the factory mechanic style of much of the score.

BadAtGender
The hell? I like the TF score. "Scorponok" especially has a great development from sinister brooding to exciting bombast. It's also following what is arguably the best action sequence in the entire series. Kinda sad since it's also the first. But as a whole? Compared to all scores? Nah, man. It's not that great.

I remember when they used the Scorponok theme in Revenge of the Fallen trailer. Thought it was pretty awesome. Movie still looked bad though

TalismanRing
I propose a new scoring system for these lists. Your votes lose 10% of their worth for every decade of cinema you've never watched a movie from.

The Futurist
Jablonsky s TF score is fantastic and iconic. Best Zimmeresque score Zimmer hes never written. So many bombastic great cues. Love it.
Avatree
The Great Escape, Robin Hood, E.T. ... list is improving. Yeah, that theme is one of the most memorable ever used in a movie, whether you like it or not. You are clearly not able to make a difference between a movie and it's score. Pirates 2 will be higher. It was #3 on my list. Since when does memorable = depth?
Kalo
Whats wrong with Transformers score? sure I wouldn't put it in my top 25. but it has some really unearthly themes that are actually quite beautiful. Did all star wars scores make the top 100?
Goffe
All TF scores are pretty good, but not BOTF's best scores of all time material

Dementeleus
Jablonsky s TF score is fantastic and iconic. Iconic? The only cue I can remember is "Scorponok" and that's because I use it for temp scores as a sort of generic rah-rah thing. Avatree
I will admit, I quite like Arrival to Earth. It might be in my Top 1000 Film Tracks if I ever made such a list.
Fancyarcher
The transformers score is good in parts, but iconic? Let's be serious here, nope. Edited April 28, 2015 by Fancyarcher
