Deep Wang
Obviously if it gets close, they'll report a $200m weekend, but they won't actually fudge the actual.
redfirebird2008
Hey guys, quick fix on Friday it was actually 86M, we missed 2 million. Oh yeah, Saturday as well, don't know what happened there. Also Sunday drop is definitely sub 20%, we swear. Eh, they can leave Friday alone. Just manipulate the Sunday drop and then spread the fudged money throughout next week's numbers. Take a mill from Monday, a mill from Tuesday, etc
Empire
Obviously if it gets close, they'll report a $200m weekend, but they won't actually fudge the actual. Yeah, Disney doesn't fudge.
druv10
If nothing else, that would put it in range for fudge. As long as it can get to $195m on its own, shouldn't be too hard for Disney to justify it. It needs at least 63M for Disney to have a chance to fudge. If it hits 67M than 200M would happen even without a fudge.
Kvikk Lunsj
Yeah, Disney doesn't fudge. But Disney might want to fudge ever studio has its breaking point.

redfirebird2008
Yeah, Disney doesn't fudge. Don't tell Sony that. Ahem, 2007 "worldwide opening" controversy between SM3/POTC3.
druv10
Huge meltdowns tomorrow if it makes 59m Saturday. That actually would be pretty bad since even IM3 made over 62M on it's opening Saturday.

Empire
But Disney might want to fudge ever studio has its breaking point. Disney doesn't care about even #s/milestones/records as much as other studios. I think it is because they make so much money on things other than movies.
Jandrew
Yeah, Disney doesn't fudge. Does no one remember Tangled? They may never fudged OW's as openly, but they still give their movies a push, like every other studio.
Deep Wang
Yeah, Disney doesn't fudge. Yeah, I mean the weekend estimate that hits all the websites and everything is one thing(everyone liberally rounds up to make it sound better), but they aren't the ones to go crazy fudging shit.
grim22
Yeah, Disney doesn't fudge. In completely unrelated news, Cinderella is on its way to 200M thanks to an increase in its box office take this week.

I think it is because they make so much money on things other than movies. This must be a recent development. They bragged about setting a worldwide opening record with Pirates 3 but apparently it included extra days compared to SM3, which came out earlier the same month. Sony called them out on it and a very public cat fight occurred in Deadline, etc.
keysersoze123
IM2 was overestimated by 5m or something like that. !!!

Empire
Does no one remember Tangled? They may never fudged OW's as openly, but they still give their movies a push, like every other studio. They left Gnomeo & Juliet & Hercules at 99M.
druv10
Obviously if it gets close, they'll report a $200m weekend, but they won't actually fudge the actual. Disney usually doesn't fudge but if TA2 is around 198-199M then you bet your bottom dollar that they'll find money in Guam or Puerto Rico.
