Obviously I'm rooting for this, but without question there are gonna be people who really don't like it. There are gonna be people who read (and loved) the book and hate the movie (for a variety of reasons). There are gonna be people who think it'll be one kind of movie or another and walk away perplexed. So, while I'm thrilled the early reactions are super-positive, it's worth a reminder that it's not for everyone.

Last time there was a highly divisive Paramount film created by a visionary auteur, it was in my top 5 of the year.  so thanks for getting me more pumped.  between this and Paddington 2 the year looks to be starting off strong.

I never cared about him one way or the other but his fans are Cumberbatch-level annoying so that colored my judgement. Like exactly what you are doing. You are trying to forbid not liking this actor. Well, I dislike him even more. :P
