I think xXx has the ability to make $70-85m. Vin Diesel and the two Chinese stars are pop in China.

Do you know about Assasin's creed fan base in China? I know it is nothing like Warcraft but will it have some sort of suprise box office figure? I honestly hope xXx crushes it. jiangsen
Btw, Mtime pretty much nailed these predictions last year. http://news.mtime.com/2016/01/04/1550931-all.html Movies with >90% probablility were all released sans Inferno and they successfully called non-releases for Suicide Squad and Ghostbusters.

Only the the name appears then colour marked, the ping will work @Gavin Feng not the same as @Gavin Feng

Polaroids
It's weird that all this Hollywood movies are getting released so close to CNY. I thought there was a period during CNY where they didn't allow Hollywood films? But then you have xXx getting released 13 days after the first day of CNY. If they don’t do this, it will be very hurt.

Aren't they also killing the chances of their own domestic films? Almost half of that 6.88B is from Mermaid. If they allow HW movies to release so close to CNY, it will kill CNY movies and maybe most of them won't even reach 1B.
