That doesn't apply to Civil War.

Civil War will have Spider-man, premier Black Panther and feature all the most popular superheroes battling each other over a politically charged plotline. Then add to this that it could be a great movie.

It has everything that AOU lacked.

Because SM is on such an upswing, right?

People expecting CW to outdo AOU are just setting themselves up for disappointment.

Spielberg is just a fucking genius. Highest grossing movie of all time and a best picture winner in just one year lmao.

That was impressive, but Cameron managed to do the same with one film instead of two just four years later  :o

No No No No

We can't wait for the actuals

Let's have more conjecture and guessing and concurring and denial and wrath and hatred and agreement and nodding and spitting and cuddling

We still have an hour or so

"Don't wait for the translation...yes or no?!"

Or in Star Trek VI terms..."Answer me now!"  ;-)

I agree, but Spidey will be not much more than a cameo, not exactly something they will be able to promote much in trailers. Black Panther is not well known enough. Cap vs Iron Man will be the pull here.

As stated above, it's even being marketed as an Avengers film internationally. The GA doesn't care about the comics, they're jsut gonna see the Avengers characters back on screen together a year later.

The trailer of AOU actually looked like a rehash of Avengers 1 with them fighting swarms of humanoid enemies.

Civil War will feel alot more fresh.

I'm saying that's how it will be viewed by people who don't care about comic story lines.

And again none of us know how well Civil War is going to do, or how the audiences will perceive it, since it doesn't come out for another year.

So that's actual?

Astonishing, obviously. TA's still took me more by surprise but you have to hand it to Universal - they nailed the rollout.

EDIT - oh, apparently it isn't.
