So potentially, within the space of 2 and a half months, uni could go from having no $100m opening weekends to its first $200m? Who the fuck could have ever predicted that?!

And in under two months they're gonna have two franchise films open with more than what their predecessors finished with.

 

And in the same year they will have broken the February, April and June OW records.

 

And they will own the monthly OW records for half of the first half of the year.

Literally 2 months ago, AOU was locked to win summer and be the highest grossing movie of 2015 internationally. Now it looks like JW will beat it domestically after Furious 7 beat it internationally. No one saw that happening.

This weekend has been the opposite of the AOU weekend, lower numbers initially which kept going up with each update as opposed to the 100M reports which kept going down.

Yep, this has been like Avengers 1's OD, not Ultron's. I still remember the board exploding when Rth first dropped the 80M OD bomb
