Damn! WTF happened to MMFR? It's dailies was ahead of PP2 for more than 2 weeks, and now it's falling far behind it.  

 

Good news: 1.It's passing $140M today, and 2. It's going to crawl to $150M domestic by the end of it's run.

I think part of the good holds were because it got a one-week slot in premium theaters like IMAX venues due to Tomorrowland disappointing. All of those obviously went to Jurassic World when it opened.

 

It never appeared in more than a tiny handful of IMAX theaters. Not enough to make any sort of significant difference, I think.

I actually think Verbinski's films are much smarter than all of the Jurassic films aside from Jurassic Park '93. But, I mean, they're dino romps. They're best served dumb. Not certain I really want them any other way.
