Because Jurassic World was just GUSHING with soul, right?

 

When the movie's that entertaining it doesn't need much soul to save it. Having said that, I haven't seen Minions but if DM/DM2 are any indications I doubt these Minions could have more soul than Blue the raptor.

 

I'm not hating on Minions though, I just think it's more gimmicky than quality.

Neither of the Shrek sequels hit $40m on opening day (but they did blow past it on Saturday). TS3 has the record at $41.1m. Seems that will be going down this evening.
