 Essentially post-Shire, pre-Rivendell, though there are some moments there I like (as well as moments elsewhere I don't).

It IS all about Tom Bombadil!

Truly, it isn't. Bombadil would've been a complete clusterfuck.

Still though not a bad weekend. Although Spectre decreased in OW it should still hold up strong and make its way close to 230 million domestic and make its way between 780-800 million overseas. So it will be just fine for the studio. Peanuts will hold up strong no matter what and make its way to 165 million domestic  when it's all said and done:

Now in terms of James Bond films......what's gonna happen with the next Bond film,...Box-office wise?? :P

Is the next one falling further below.....or coming back up with an increase? :P

If this finishes in the mid to low 200's and Craig is still in the role it'll decrease.

That is harsh. Rogue Nation feels familiar but that bike chase sequence is a topic generator.

(topic generator?) That opera set-piece is one of my fav scenes this year and a highlight in the series.

I wasn't specially meaning this one....but, whatever..... WW-wise is another story.

But if the next one is a better improvement over this one?

Won't matter unless we're talking one of the best Bonds ever.

Then Craig's Bond series will be one of the biggest rollercoasters in movie history.

Casino Royale (great), Quantum of Solace (poor), Skyfall (great), Spectre (poor), Bond 25 (great?).

You mean like......the odd-numbered Craig Bond films are close to amazing....while the even-numbered Craig Bond films are kinda problematic?

This year was supposed to be an easy call too, then Jurassic World beat AOU.

Yeah...true. And JW's overperformance has showed this year that not every Marvel-superhero movie can win every year.

So Marvel-Movies grosses huge amounts...but none of them has won for #1 these recent years.

I know the truth.

Tele was upset they cut out Fredegar Bolger from the first act and that soured his entire experience of the Rivendell journey.
