Maybe there should be a top 15 smaller films and a top 15 big budget films.

We want at least one list to maintain credibility.

I think that's a very good idea especially since even if these films are eventually watched it's often after they hit Netflix and voting is over. We could divide them like the Independent Spirit Awards - movies below (a reported) $20m budget.

What about if it's having a qualifying run for this year's oscars but hasn't been on general release in the US yet? Aka I really want to have The Boy and the Beast in my list!

Even limited releases and qualifying runs can be included.

Remember when The Master won in 2013? That was good.

The Dark Knight Rises won that year.

If you guys put The Martian at first... Just not. I don't want to think about that possibility. Creed is lock and loaded to get it. Either that or Inside Out (or Star Wars unless everyone starts to hate it after 5 weeks like most blockbusters).

Those lists are pretty bad. Makes sense given the forums average taste, but watch some non-blockbuster films once in awhile guys ;)

Whiplash, Grand Budapest Hotel and Boyhood are blockbusters?
