yeah, What We Do in the Shadows is pretty good, it wasn't love at first sight, but it grew on me over time.

The Nightmare trailer is creepier than anything I've seen in a horror movie in ages, definitely a must watch before sending my list.

Also interested in The Duke of Burgundy and Appropriate Behavior.

Some of these don't really need an FYC.. but

Still need to see Star Wars and Revenant of course, as well as Love & Mercy, the Good Dinosaur, In the Heart of the Sea, Room, hateful eight, Brooklyn Joy. and some others.

JW is the worst film I've seen this year, maybe the worst tent pole I've seen in a theater this decade.

 apparently $1.6b would disagree. it's true it wasn't groundbreaking by any means. but I still found it a lot of fun. but I'm not a JP fanboy so I didn't really have that big of expectations.

2 of these do not fit.

I didn't expect it to be as good as the first but it made the last two almost look good.  Poorly plotted and stupidly written, with annoying and unlikable characters indifferently and poorly acted except for the guy who played the CEO who was good and Bryce who was OK, mean spirited and goofy, and most unforgivably - lacking any sense of awe, fun, adventure, thrills, dread or tension.
