I surpsose both the mothers were pretty good in that but there roles weren't very big from what I remember. I remember I was going to Check out Coulds Sils Maria so maybe I'll watch that. thanks.

I had her listed as best actress for that, but my supporting actress category is looking incredibly weak right now and if she is going to be put there anyways? or does anyone know of some accessible films with good supporting actress roles I could watch? I consider her in the Best Actress category.
Blankments
Vikander is easily Supporting; Domnall is the only lead in that movie

WrathOfHan
Vikander falls between Lead and Supporting in Ex Machina. Gleeson is lead, Isaac supporting. Edited January 10, 2016 by WrathOfHan
CoolioD1
she's a lead. duh. obviously.
Jake Gittes
I'm putting her in supporting for sure. From memory she has way less screentime than either of the guys, and it's not the kind of brief performance that dominates the movie so much that it feels like a lead role. Jake Gittes
My supporting actress picks for now are Vikander, Stewart, Lou de Laage (Breathe), Lucy Owen (The Mend) and Deirdre O'Connell (Gabriel).
Blankments
I agree entirely with Jake on it. Mostly the screentime thing does it for me
Kalo
This isn't good. what if she doesn't get nominated on the basis that were are spit on weather she is a lead or supporting.
CoolioD1
i wouldn't vote for her in either if it helps. she's good but I think people are more enamored with the idea of the character than the performance itself.

Dementeleus
@Spaghetti, too late to add a category? I'd love something like a "Scene that made me stand up and cheer" category... there's some stuff it'd be great to acknowledge, but they don't really qualify as action scenes.
