And to think, this was unimaginable back in January.. MARVEL was deemed a has been and BvsS was supposed to be WB/DC's version of The AVENGERS and it can't even get the job done.. All I saw was "The Trinity This and the Trinity that" and when these so called 3 Iconic Superhero's can't dent the box office, that makes me wonder if it's not so much Zack Snyder is the problem as it is that the general audience just doesn't dig DC like the fans do, excluding Nolan's Trilogy for obvious reasons???

not saying anything pro or con about the movie itself, but just talking box office here:

Of the 139 biggest OWs of all time, BvS is going to have the absolute worst legs of all of them. Of every single movie that opened to more than 56.3M, it's legs will rank dead last.

And I'm drawing the line there for now, but it's not guaranteed to beat Valentines Day's legs in the end. So in a few weeks that might actually change to be worse legs than every other single movie in the top 150 OWs of all time.

This is why I doubt any studio will announce they will be releasing a superior extended cut at a later date.

An unjustified 28 on RT, a deliberate smear campaign, a movie interfered with by non-creatives and an announcement that they may release the extended version in theaters, and still this movie will do around 900M WW.

I'd call that a minor miracle.

wow. That is just massive. Did not see a 100m weekend.  80m yes. But 100m??

So my projections for pre-summer releases.

1. Deadpool 365m

2.  zootopia 330m

3. The Jungle book 330m

4. BVS 325m

whod a think it...

4 films > 300m.....
