chasmmi
There are a number of films that for many reasons received few to none gross predictions in our collective top 15 domestic charts. This is a minor chance for some of those films to shine. Boxoffice.com do their weekly long range forecasts for all wide movies that currently runs up until the July 1st releases. Below I shall list some of forecasts for films nobody (or at best almost nobody) sees impacting the final top 15: Money Monster: $28m Nice Guys: $60m Popstar: $25m Me before You: $45m Now you see me 2: $65M Free State of Jones: $43M The Shallows: $28m The purge: $42m You may choose as many or as few of the above films as you please. For each film you choose, you must select 1 of the following predictions: HIGHER, LOWER, HALF, DOUBLE. HIGHER: Means you predict the final total by end of game will be higher than BO.com's above forecast LOWER: Means you predict the final total by end of game will be lower than BO.com's above forecast HALF: Means you predict the final total by end of game will be less than half of the BO.com's above forecast DOUBLE: Means you predict the final total by end of game will be more than double BO.com's above forecast SCORING For every correct prediction using either HIGHER or LOWER score 4000 points. For every correct prediction using either HALF or DOUBLE score 10000 points. For every incorrect prediction using either HIGHER or LOWER score minus 6000 points. For every incorrect prediction using either HALF or DOUBLE score minus 15000 points. This means that technically 80000 points can be won on this question, but it does require BO.com to be very very bad at its job Deadline is Thursday midnight at 11:59pm on 12th. It is now 7am and I haven't slept yet so if there is something here which is unclear I will deal with it when I am more awake

Infernus
What about an On The Spot? You know, like within 5% of the given gross. Well you'll have to slightly adjust the higher and lower categories, but I think this should be an option.
Jake Gittes
So what happens if I predict higher and it grosses double, or I predict lower and it grosses less than half? I guess the answer is incorrect in that case?

Can't change things now ALso I get my joy from seeing the pain on players' faces when they just miss out on a correct answer

Obviously it is not the case the other way aro und though
