I don't think the large majority of us will look anywhere near that good at that age (or in Tele's case, about 5000 years ago lowballing it)

JK Simmons grew a beard?

Am I the only one who sees a startling resemblanc?

Would not surprise me. First, ID is going to be a lot bigger than many around here thought. and that will suck up some tickets that otherwise would have gone to Dory.

Second, Dory really isn't all that good. It's not much better than Monster's University, which was pale compared to Monsters Inc.

Dory really doesn't deserve its massive box office, if Nemo didn't exist it probably does $150m DOM total. As word gets out that it's not that good, its legs will suffer.

Shouldn't an Independence Day sequel do way better than San Andreas?

What a disaster. :depp:

San Andreas has way more D-Porn then ID:R and a way more charismatic lead. Warning people that are going to this that are expecting a lot of D-Porn: there's not a lot. It's more a humanity vs aliens movie.

So far the only summer movies I liked and can still remember are CA: Civil War and The Conjuring 2.

Still haven't seen The Nice Guys.

Hoping The Shallows bucks that trend.

Entertaining but immediately forgettable: ID:R, Finding Dory, Central Intelligence (I completely forgot about Central Intelligence until writing that and I just watched it 2 days ago)
Letdown: X:Men: Apocalypse
Just Plain Turn It Off Awful: Warcraft, Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising

Star Trek OWs adjusted for inflation:

1. Star Trek: 86.5M

2. STID: 71.8M

3. First Contact: 59.6M

4. Generations: 47.4M

5. Search for Spock: 42.6M

6. Wrath of Khan: 41.9M

7. The Motion Picture: 40.8M

8. Insurrection: 40.3M

9. Voyage Home: 39M

10. Final Frontier: 37.6M

11. Undisovered Country: 37M

12. Nemesis: 27.3M

It's unlikely Beyond opens under 40M

I honestly had the same reaction, but for Ordinary Love and not Happy (because Bono has NEVER WON! grrrrrr)

U2 should start making good music again if they want to win an Oscar. ;)

OMG

John and a bunch of the others from Collider YouTube saw it last night in a mostly empty theater.

I follow Kristian Harloff on Instagram and he posted a picture with them and pretty much no one else about 10 min before it started lol
