I think Storks might be a case of the humor skewing so juvenile that parents were cringing and basically saying a big nope to it. The "MOMS ARE FUN TOO HERPITY DERP!" bit from all the marketing was particularly grating to me. And it's not the kind of movie that would inspire the kind of passion from kids to try to talk their parents into it like pretty much anything Illumination does.
