Yeah guessing 11-13 in Japan. 700 ww not locked by any means.

Could go well below 700 with about 675 (225+450), while on the realistic but optimistic end probably around 725 (250+475).

And to make room for surprising legs on either side of things, say 650-750 ww.

Snyder being out, will probably help things in long haul.

However, Warner needs to stop trying to mess up with directors work and the editing. If Warner keeps doing that, changing directors will be useless.

When a movie comes out bad people blame studio interference and when it comes out well they credit the director.   Very few directors have final cut and even they usually have to deliver a film within certain parameters.

Campea surprisingly had a good piece on this in one of JL podcast and used the examples of Jackson in LOTR and Whedon in The Avengers - both of whom have spoken at length about how collaborative the process was for both.

When WW and JL come out the same year with the same execs in charge then the difference is the director - not the studio.

Even JJ Abrams had scuttles with Disney over TFA, but no one cares cause the movie made $2 billion.

The directors. There were two.

11 April 2016 - 14 October 2016 (principal photography)
May 2017 (Joss Whedon's additional scenes)

They didn't do months or years of pre-production together.  One was brought in after 6 months of filming and several months of post production to fix what the studio didn't like with considerably less financial resources, less time and less access to the actors with or without excess facial hair.

And maybe the movie would have been better had Whedon not be involved. We will never know...

p.s.

Have not seen JL yet.

WB should have called Tony Gilroy. Those who love Rogue One don't even bother crediting him for the BO success (and R1 production allegedly was as much as a mess as JL before he came on board as ghost director to steer the ship back in line).

I understand why he did it but i wish Snyder would not have left JL. Just to see "his" vision put on screen (as much as one can in a studio system), to see him finish the trilogy. At least it would have been his film. I never liked the idea of someone else coming in and meddling around. While i haven't seen JL yet, some things i've read... i don't know how well it jives with the rest of the films. Of course others that don't care about Snyder's vision will have a different opinion...

Assuming Thor finishes at 850 then its WW multiplier will be around 2.64

With the same multi JL gets to around 735. Whether it gets that multi however remains the question as it has already shown weaker internal weekend multiplier than Thor in many countries.

SS internal Multiplier 5.32x / dom Multiplier

2.4x

BVS internal Multiplier 6.14x

1.99x

MJ2 internal multiplier 6.37x

2.75x

FB internal multipier 9.25x

3.13x

JL internal Multiplier  7.23

???

If it performs  like a Thanksgiving Film then a 2.8-2.9x is certainly possible.

Keep in mind that both MJ2 and FB faced a Starwars film and animated film (FB faced the weaker of the films).

I was talking about worldwide multiplier not domestic.
