Nope, her "beauty" is all about expensive tans and hair cuts and pilates. The power of her PR is incredible -- just as they've planted it into the public's head that she's a huge star, they've also planted it into their heads that she's one of the world's most beautiful women. Kudos to Kevin Huvane & co. But she kinda looks like Jay Leno/Dustin Hoffman in a wig.

Lol you're hilarious. Keep on living in fantasy land with unicorns and dragons. I've never met a person who didn't find her attractive.

Star Wars fatigue kicking in, no interest among GA, only fans.

As long as the top 3 domestic movies all time are the below in any order.  Most fans won't care which one is on top.

Star Wars 7

Star Wars 8

Star Wars 9

Wasn't looking at TGD. Zoo and TJB  dropped 10-15% more than usual against CA3. Same with Zoo vs BvS.

15% addition drop or more is normal against a 125m+ release. The Theater count won't drop much, but a lot screens/showtimes and even more seats will be lost. Moana held -35% this weekend. It will be upper 40s next weekend.

well this kinda makes sense. I hope it could replicate Zoo's run, it fell 8% on paper but was still almost steady, all things considered. (-31.6% (3,827 TC) ->-27.6% (3,959 TC) ->-35.4% (3,670 TC, BvS week))

haha I think many fans will still argue over which is the best and why it should have taken the crown instead. ;) welcome!

I would say yes. I think TFA would have done it with a summer release. But that said, I don't expect TFA's OW record to fall until 2020ish at  the soonest. We need 3 or 4 more years of inflation at least.

2002: First $100m+ weekend

2007: First $150m+ weekend

2012: First $200m+ weekend

2017: First $250m+ weekend

Those #s are somewhat disappointing for Nocturnal Animals, no? Can't say I'm surprised, considering how off the beaten path it is, but it was doing very well in limited release.

I think it was hanging by a thread even there. Now it's doing more than I thought it would after its opening weekend. A $12-14m total will at least put it on the level of other recent divisive late-year releases like Carol and Inside Llewyn Davis, a week ago I wasn't even sure $10m would happen.
