I have a confession, when I first saw the trailer for Split I thought it looked like a weird little thing that would be limited release and make at most $2m domestic.

I didn't quite think 2M(that's extreme), but I did think similar numbers to The Visit.

Marketing was much better than I expected and apparently the movie is also very good, so comeback confirmed.

Jan 20: 40.2M (16M weekdays, 56.2M Total)

Jan 27: 28M (11M weekdays, 94.2M Total)

Feb 3: 21M (8M weekdays, 123.2M Total)

Feb 10: 11.5M (4M weekdays, 138.7M Total)

Feb 17: 7M (2.4M weekdays, 148.1M Total)

Feb 24: 4M (1.5M weekdays, 153.6M Total)

Mar 3: 2M (800k weekdays, 156.4M Total)

Final Total: 160M (3.98x)

Unbreakable and The Village adjusted is the goal IMO. This movie is having insane WOM, and the next two weekends are barren.

That is weird because The Visit did very well.

James McAvoy's vehicle making almost as much as Mark Wahlberg's and Ben Affleck's will in their entire runs combined. What a time to be alive.

Affleck's movie was much bigger than McAvoy's movie. Studios are reporting fake numbers. #AlternativeFacts
