Raiders is so fucking good.

The orchestra alongside was really great. Highly recommend going to this kind of thing if you have the chance.

So now you're only aabattery? Lowered ambition, it's disappointing :sparta:

Not sure why people expect this to be frontloaded through the weekend. The previews/OD ratio is more backloaded than almost all 150m plus openers.

This kind of movie is rarely frontloaded, they have pretty good legs because they have a diverse audience, many people wishing to see it whenever they want and not feeling the need to see it ASAP.

Well, less than 80 pages last night. Still not reading it though.

Good numbers for BATB. More than I wanted. But what can you do.

Beg for God Disney's pardon.

This might end up being a nail biter for that March OW record.

Sunday holds are always just a guess when it comes to movies this big. (It could be off by a good 4-5 million, either above or below.) May not know until we get a late night Sunday update or even Monday actuals.

Just when you think Disney has had too many LONG-LASTING MEGA-MONEY-MAING franchises or brands, they found yet another one in their magic pool: live action adaptation of their beloved animations. Holy mother of Walt another $170m OW grosser!!!

Disney is dominating the shit out of this industry and will continue be in a long long time.

Amazing OW for Beast although I expect frontloadedness.

Decent holds for Get Out, Logan, and Kong given the competition.

Great hold for TLBM which I didn't expect given Beast, excepted at least a 40% drop.

Is Belko good, haven't checked out the budget for it.

Deadline is reporting B&B got an A cinemascore which isn't surprising. That fits the twitter reactions I seeing.

Yet the looney Kong/Godzilla fans would like you to believe that the WOM is mixed lol. Speaking of which, where'd they all go?

Still cant see how this could do 170m like Deadline is predicting..

It would need a 60m Saturday followed by a 45 m Sunday.

They wrote that the film seems to have a decent amount of walk ups. If true Saturday could be huge.
