Clint is weird. Who the hell wants to be working at 88 years-old? I know filmmaking isn't exactly "work" in the traditional bean-counting cubicle sense but still...

Eh, let him do what he wants (even if it means making movies out real life events that barely justify being turned into movies) until the unfortunately inevitable happens.

I know I shouldn't be glad about a filmmaker's misfortune but this whole project felt icky from the start and I'm relieved that it doesn't look like it's going to catch on.

I hope Eastwood has enough energy left to put his time into something much more worthwhile. American Sniper and Sully would have been a good note to retire on.

Sure this one's definitely a misstep, but the fact that a nearly 90 year old man in still able to make "good" or even great movies is incredible

Considering he'd had flops like Jersey Boys and Hereafter, I'm sure he'll be fine, the movie only cost $30m so WB won't lose much, they made so much money from American Sniper and Sully that it's a free pass for Eastwood. I hope his next project is The Mule, that sounds like it could be a great movie for Clint to direct and star.
