I will laugh my ass off if A Quiet Place outgrosses Paramount's highest grossing 2017 film (Transformers 5 - 130M). It's beyond me that they haven't had a 150M+ maker since Star Trek Beyond (and that just inched over 150M).

With two more updates, AQP could finish the day with ~25%. Feeling like it can hit $3M previews tonight.

I'll wait for the second show to start before doing AQP comps, but it's already sold over ten tickets there. It's about to get LIT up in here.

 

Blockers comps:

 

75% of American Made (12.6M)

75% of Hitman's Bodyguard (16.1M)

90% of Game Night (15.3M)

415% of Father Figures (13.7M)

 

This is going to be even more younger skewing than Game Night was, and sales are light for tomorrow currently. A Quiet Place is more than likely impacting its audience, but overall, this is solid.
