AMC is doing another Disney Princess marathon like last fall. This year’s movies (all animated):

 

September 14-20: Beauty and the Beast

September 21-27: The Princess and the Frog

September 28-October 4: Tangled

October 5-11: Moana

October 12-18: Cinderella

I'm getting a feeling that Kin is gonna megaflop something miserable.

instead of debating on how bad Kin is going to flop, I am going to concentrate on how close it could possibly reach between 6-10 million OW.

Kin has currently sold 13 tickets for tonight at my theater 🤔 Granted, A.X.L. sold 14 total.

The Little Stranger is actually getting solid reviews. Bizarre that Focus decided to completely dump it like they have.

I was browsing sales for tomorrow (since I might see Searching in the afternoon) and most of these Harry Potter XD shows have come close to sold out. The fandom is still alive lol.

That's 1.5x what A.X.L. did last week, which would be barely over 3M. I mean, at least it sold a decent amount of tickets tonight? 😬

I honestly never saw a single piece of marketing for Kin so it making zilch seems really unsurprising.

Hopefully it hits my area (doubt it though). I don't even have much interest, but it'd be nice to see a liberal skewing movie open with the amount of Christian flicks that come through.

enormous theater drops for Ant-Man 2, Mission 6, and Christopher Robin.  All of them should have found a way to loose 0% of last weeks locations.

this year the LD re-expansion is not quite as strong as last year, when no wide release in LD weekend.

guessing 0.84 Thursday on Operation Finale.  1.84 2-day total.  the RT audience score dropped 2 points today from 80 to 78.

I also looked at the Orlando area theatres, for Friday night, the 6-8 corridor.

 

At Pointe Orlando, Searching, Kin and Operation Finale has sold zero tickets for that time period, meanwhile, the Iron Man 3 in the IMAX has sold 25 tickets.

 

Searching seems to be doing less well at the other area theaters, but I did see that Disney Springs gave Searching the BIG theater, the 580+ seat one.

And 5 minutes of Pulse:
Searching: 35  - that's 2/3 of Mile 22, ca. 2x of The Darkest Minds and is on par with Slender Man all same daytime, but probably the lower screen number will hurt (?)
Kin: 9 - The Darkest Minds had 14 sold tickets at the same daytime.
