DAWN OF OBLIVION!!!!

James Franco being cast as the President, and it being played seriously, is probably one of the more baffling choices of that era.

It’s partly thanks to Dawn of Oblivion that Scavenger Wars exists. :ph34r:

Edit: Nevermind, I got DoO mixed up with that Nirvana trilogy thingy Ueka also made. That was the one I was thinking of for TSW.

Anyone have any idea what we should do for totals Y3? It’s been a while since he’s been active and should we just wait for Hiccup to come back or should somebody just finish it?

@Spagheditary @cookie @4815162342 @Xillix @Ethan Hunt @Blankments @Reddroast @Rorschach

I can do it since I have the math already worked out but I think we should come to a collective agreement on the Y4 holdovers.

Sure. But how?

I would imagine due to the Oscars, films like Otherspace and Dime would get a significant boost as both were BP nominees in wide release at the time, Egypt would also get some boost as well.

NFTO would've already arrived on home video by the time the Oscars rolled around. Same with Odyssey 2 and Scavenger Wars.

It was still going strong, it was still in the top 10 before Dime.

I used 2013 as a basis for the Christmas/New Year's multis since the dates lined up, then the first week of 2014 played out like this:

https://www.boxofficemojo.com/weekend/chart/?view=&yr=2014&wknd=01&p=.htm

Prince of Egypt is the only one that'd be difficult to pin down since musicals can have wack legs.

That seems like a good basis to use.

Perhaps Frozen can be used as a comp, but toned down obviously.

Hunchback can also be a comp but different times.

I think Hunchback-esque drops after the holidays would work well.

Yeah I'm down with getting some Y3 totals pumped out... maybe I can use it as an excuse to sneak in a filler sequel to a modest hit somewhere.

Same here. I have an idea for one.
