@MrPink actually rode Dominator at King's Dominion! Which is no kiddy coaster. I was proud of him.

yeah I'm not a big roller coaster person any more either.  I used to do them, but really they do nothing for me any more.  I do get the appeal though

The stage adaptation is a lot closer to the novel than the animated film which is why I think a live action version IMO could be an improvement and allowed to be more gothic and tragic.
