They opened a new theme park Walt Disney Studios next to it few years ago, it's basically some Disney World's rides being imported there like Aerosmith's Roller Coaster and the former Twilight Zone tower.(Which has been since reconfigured in a GOTG themed rides in Orlando).

GOTG is only in California; Florida hasn't been affected

There are strong rumors that something GOTG is going into Epcot.  Not sure exactly what but it's going to be replacing the very outdated Ellen's Energy Adventure.  Not sure how GOTG is going to fit into the overall scope of Epcot but it's in desperate need of some updating

Iger just said SWL is opening before the next D23. Don't know if it's both DL and WDW, but I'm betting they are aiming for either Spring Break or Memorial Day 2019.
