Remember how Dennis said he didn't want anyone else to direct the sequel because they'd just ruin it? The balls in that bastard literally made a worthy sequel, right down to the box office bomb. picores
Mad Max Fury Road is the best action movie of the century so far imo. A real game changer like Die Hard, T-2 or The Matrix at his time.

I really liked BR2049 but compared to the original, they simplified the plot but over stuffed it. There is no reason it should have been that long. The slow pacing just makes the whole "lack of action" that much more noticeable.

That One Girl
Mountain Between Us holds your attention for the first hour and 10 or so despite moments of stupidity and then the last 20 minutes are so fucking BORING to sit through.
Mojoguy
If Harrison Ford was smart he would have asked for more money upfront instead of getting his money from some kind of kind of backend deal, cause BR isn't going to be making much.

I loved the buthurt from MM fans who were pissed that Furiosa outshone Max himself in Fury Road.

Fancyarcher
Just saw Blade Runner 2049. Excellent movie, the more I thought about it leaving the theater, the more I liked it too, which makes its box office almost criminal. For a 2 hour and 43 minute including credits, it's didn't feel long at all. In fact the story flowed perfectly, and if Deakins doesn't win an Oscar for it (which I know at this point he very likely won't), I think I'm going to scream. My only real regret is I wish I could have seen it on the biggest screen possible, otherwise I loved it! 1
