Same line every time from you isolationists, lmao.

I just got through reading articles about how the Ukraine crisis is having a big impact on the American economy.

That is the problem with Isolationism....you can fence yourself in but you can't fence the world out.

Besides, It worked so well in the 1930's.......

This isn't their first attempt at something like this. Celebration exists after all.

Celebration, Florida - Wikipedia

Gonna assume this will be a much less eerie (seriously, I've always gotten major Stepford vibes from that place in all my years of passing through it) version of that.

I would not be surprised if this project gets quietly dropped.

Could be the most ridiculed Disney project since "Disney's America" in the 90's, where they tried to build a history themed amusemtn park on a  site that was a Civil War Battlerield in Northren Virginia, and dropped it because of the heat they took.

Because they are part of Nato therefore it's difficult to just turn your back on this situation. Then again they did manage it for half of WW2

This is the type of shit that got UK involved in WW1

Which historians say was likely one of the biggest foreign policy mistakes ever made.

The reason why Russia and China are comfortable acting this way is cause the USA is getting weak and its getting weak from within. If USA fixes its domestic situation then it can be stronger.

Its mainly opnion piece articles that suggest the UK's involvement in WW1 was an error in history. Should have we just let Germany run wild and potentially let them get to a point where they were too strong to deal with? Reality is there are too many ripples created to guess what the world would have looked like today had we not rushed to war. It weakened the UK, but we are a small Nation that really doesnt need nor care about having the power we used to have.

I brought up the example as that getting involved in conflicts and wars out of treaty obligations can end up sending a country down a darker timeline instead. There is a BBC tv show called 37 days that shows how absurd the leadup to WW1 was.

The German Empire is not the same as the Nazis though... Germans running amok in Ww1 is different then WW2.

A strong Germany inside Europe post WW1 is a much better timeline then what happened which was well the Nazis.

it would meant a more conservative minded Europe for a while though but it would have liberalize the same over time.

British would face a much stronger Germany but they would have remained a global power much longer.

My point its not really in Americas interest to get involved.
