It was crappy to do, but it probably means she 1. is just as insecure and unsure (see, girls don't always have it figured out either) and 2. didn't want to lose you as a friend...

This is a fair point, especially seeing how she already kinda sent an olive branch towards me in a sort of way. And tbh I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s a thing because she reminded me of myself in a ton of ways
