Yes, I too wish Disney would go back to making such classics like First Kid.

I was pretty much out the 90's films.  I was more a fan of the 70's stuff

But seriously...moving the setting to Chicago and using that environment as the hook isn't even a dog whistle, it's pretty much a wolf howl at this point.

Nah son. I want a remake of that weird Mighty Ducks cartoon about hockey-playing ducks from another planet that fought reptilian aliens. I remember when I was a kid being so disappointed when I discovered the actual movie it was based on was just some dumb movie about Charlie Sheen's brother being a hockey coach to some bratty kids.

The only two things I know about that cartoon are that Tim Curry and Tony Jay were the villains.
