Damn, that is hellish for All I See is You. $550 PTA for the whole weekend. Can't say I'm surprised though, there was absolutely no marketing for it.

D- CINEMASCORE FOR SUBURBICON

SUBURBICON (2017) D-

Yeah, this is worse than mother! getting an F. At least that film caused people to be literally repulsed by what they saw. This just means audiences thought the film plain old sucked.

Congrats to Paramount putting out the two lowest-rated films on CinemaScore in 2017!

Minus Jigsaw, and Happy Death Day. As well as The Foreigner doing well with overseas and possibly doing 3 Days To Kill numbers. STX has a profitable flick. October is horrible.

November is going to be the biggest November since 2012-2013. In my honest opinion, Thor 3 debuts like GOTG 2 or Homecoming. Bad Moms debuts like Office Christmas Party between $16-$20 million ow, and does $65-$70 million. Which isn’t bad.

Daddy’s Home 2 does $22-$25 million ow, and does $70-$80 million(what I predicted the original to do). Murder On Orient Express debuts between $23-$26 million ow(if not higher), and enjoys thanksgiving legs, and early-December legs. It will make $100 million mark my words. If good.

Justice League does $135-$145 million ow,and does bvs numbers. Wonder will debut in the high single digits and maybe $10 million. But should do sub-$30-$35 million if that’s the case. The Star, will more likely debut in the single digits minus the cast and do $25 million domestic if lucky.

Coco is the only real Thanksgiving release, it debuts like Moana or Tangled and does over $200 million domestic. Polaroid, well Harvey isn’t going to be enjoying a nice profit for that, before meeting with his lawyer.

So November will have 3 films make over $150 million.

A possible film sneak past $100 million.

Two films do ok numbers.

And will have 3 potential duds(The Star, Wonder, and Polaroid).

As for 2017, things are tough. But with a $200 million debut in december, and two more $100+ million debuts. And some potential hits joining the holiday season with Thor, Star Wars, Justice League, Coco, and Pitch Perfect 3. As well as potential successes such as Jumanji, Ferdinand, and Orient Express. Bad Moms and the Daddy are tough to predict. But the biggies should help out 2017.

Honestly Jigsaw doing higher teens isn’t horrible. Keep in mind torture porn isn’t appealing as it was a decade ago, and a total around $35-$40 million which is around 3.5-4x it’s budget. Rings couldn’t even do $30 million because of The Ring Two, and releasing trailers after its goofy release moving. So Lionsgate shouldn’t be crying, so don’t be crying if I see a Jigsaw: What went Wrong? Thread, it did better than Saw VI.

WHY COULDN'T SUBURBICON GET AN F????? D- is still hilarious at least

That's weaker than anticipated from earlier estimates for Jigsaw

Pretty much expected holds across the board. I knew OTB was gonna cross 4M!

Wanting mother! to have some company?

Yeah, all things considered (being a long in the tooth franchise that "ended" not that long ago, "torture porn" falling completely out of fashion), Jigsaw's opening is fine. Probably not enough to revive a franchise, though.

It's doing better than I expected.
