So in the past few days we’ve had trailers for Halloween, The Nun and now Unfriended Dark Web.

Any predictions?

Halloween i think is gunning for the October OW record (55,8M for Gravity in 2013) and a 150M+ total, if its atleast decent.

The Nun also seems like a breakout to me. 40M+ OW and 110M Total should be reached.

Unfriended i dont really know. Something like a 40M total maybe.

The Curse of La Llorana

Apparently the trailer for Curse brought the house down. Exciting.

Llorona gonna make bank Mexico and other hispanic countries. Is a very famous tale with each country having their own little spin on it.

This is what I have so far this year...

( I know I am missing a lot since the all on assault of independent horror films to media)

C Unfriended 2

C Unsane

C+ Winchester

B- Truth or Dare

B- Strangers 2

B+ Hereditary

B+ A Quiet Place

Slender Man, The Little Stranger, Bad Samaritan, and Insidious 4 are next.

La Llorona is going to be a breakout hit. Hits close to home with a demographic that has proven with Coco and the Derbez movies that they can show up for movies that appeal to them as well, nevermind just the generally universal appeal of horror movies period; the James Wan producer credit will definitely help it from a marketing perspective; and the concept is just pretty interesting. And it's gonna be a huge hit in Latin America. 150-200M+ WW wouldn't shock me.
