Krissykins
Two failed would-be awards contenders for Portman after Vox Lux and now this.
Hatebox
Vox Lux was good, though I can see why many didn't care for it. I didn't even know this film existed so have no opinion about it bombing critically, except to say it's a travesty that Jon Hamm isn't a huge movie star already. filmlover
Wouldn't be surprised to see Hamm return to TV soon given that his post-Mad Men film career has been a total no1curr. Preferably a juicy HBO series.
JB33
Yeah this.....isn't doing much for me so far. I don't know. It feels like the film doesn't know what it wants to be.
JB33
So this bombed horribly on its opening weekend in limited release. Showing in 37 theatres, it debuted to $54,058 for a $1,461 PTA. Yikes. Did anyone see it?

For this kind of award bait film, if you get bad reviews that is pretty much the ball game.
JohnnyGossamer
Fargo Season 2 was maybe my favorite TV anything in a long while. Season 1 very good too. Season 3 is trash though outside of maybe one episode. Legion Season 1 had so awesome stuff. Season 2 and 3 not so much. Haven't seen anything else by Hawley.
