Doom is now definitely doomed unless the script is super amazing. Fiege might use elements of it or do a Disney+ show becuase Noah clearly is a better storyteller in the longer format.

they'll probably cut down the number of mid budget movies they greenlight. this one cost 27M apparently. 

 

 

they made a good purchase of Malick's a hidden life though but it's probably not getting a wide release .

LMAO, the collective outrage about the movie skipping the space diaper part of the Crazy Diaper Astronaut Story made Twitter Moments! It's in the headlines for published reviews, people are so disappointed. 

 

For the record, the real-life astronaut eventually denied using diapers on the trip.

Fox Searchlight has Wes Anderson's newest movie and I'm assuming GDT's next movie (the starry Nightmare Alley) if it's shooting in the coming months for 2020 so it's bound to be a better year for them. They were probably due an off year after putting out three Best Picture nominees (including one winner) and racking up 11 acting nominations over the past two years.
