a2k
HS and JUM2 will bring in 1550 ww (760 + 790). Not to take away from the team effort that these (and most) movies are, a great year for DJ nevertheless.
Eric the Clown
https://deadline.com/2020/04/jumanji-the-next-level-movie-profit-2019-dwayne-johnson-kevin-hart-1202914490/ Quote THE BOTTOM LINE Participations here on Next Level are less than Jungle‘s, $60M to $90M and that’s because this sequel made less than Welcome to the Jungle, $796.6M WW to $962.1M WW. The stars soaked up the bulk of those participations. Johnson reportedly received $23.5M upfront here (which would be included in the pic’s $125M production cost, a +39% jump over Welcome to the Jungle‘s $90M budget before P&A). We hear that most of the main actors received 8% of profit after cash breakeven, which is standard for Sony deals, but Johnson got closer to his 20%. Global revenues were robust at $658M (this compared to Johnson’s Hobbs & Shaw at $538M) against all global costs of $422M which yields a $236M net profit, -23% from Welcome to the Jungle‘s net profit of $305.7M.

Eric the Clown
This is cool, but it's still weird they haven't announced any fast-tracking or future developments for the next movie. Feel like we should have gotten something by now.

John Marston
now that Dwayne doesn't have to worry about Black Adam he can make another one of these. I forgot how huge these were. The first was like a mini Top Gun Maverick with its run
DAJK
A third one, blending the game world with the real world, bringing back the casts of the new films and the original (minus Williams) would be a monster hit.

Yes! Give it to me! I have to echo Eric and others here too: I'm shocked that we haven't heard anything about a 3rd movie. This is Sony's second biggest franchise after Spider-Man. Studios don't often let something so lucrative just sit there.
