$100M looking likelier and likelier. Passengers crossed $100M at 110 days, and is so far the record-holder for the slowest to $100M for the decade. Will Wrinkle beat it?

It's hitting $100M either today or Sunday, so I'm not sure what you're asking?!

I2....i have no words. Godly opening day. Can't believe my two most anticipated movies of the year will be battling for the number one spot domestically and that my top 3 most anticipated movies of the year will all make over 600 million. What a year for Disney. And next year looks even bigger.

And nice to see BP get a nice boost this weekend. AWIT will finally hit 100 million so now hopefully Disney will expand BP for like a week to get over 700 million. Excellent weekend!

It’s only ~1M away from 100M off of a 750k Friday. Disney will make it happen this week and thankfully give their poor BO interns a deserved rest after all the creative accounting they had to do this past month for one damn movie lol.

I applaud Disney for their commitment to the obvious fudging.  It’s amazing :hahaha:

But seriously, we had to know that they were going to fudge on a record breaking weekend to distract us, right?!😂

I2 Opening Day > Incredibles Opening Weekend

Damn.

We have our answer!

Q: As to BO performances of sequels, what is the exact diametrical polar opposite of Alice 2?

A: Incredibles 2

Kinda wild that if it weren't for Born in China (sorry @The Incredible Panda!), Disney's last non-$100M+ grosser was September 2016's Queen of Katwe (which they more or less dumped onto the market) and that's not looking to change in the foreseeable future aside from Disneynature docs.

Queen of Katwe was actually a good movie but no one really saw it :P

Drive in double feature bumps happens with every huge movie and a studio's other released films.

It happened with BP and AIW  but it was less glaring since it was coming off a $4m w/e and not  a 100k w/e.  Of course this is also the third time with AWIT but it finally made it.

That reminds me, what happened to the annual Disney Nature film this year?
