The theater expansion won't stay for a long time but 417-418 looks likely.

I disagree. The main reason is too much dependency on OT. Telling from my own experiences. Main exposure for franchise films come from small screens, laptop, tv etc.

I first watched thor and then avengers. And then other mcu movies. I had no problem with that as movies had good cgi with modern movie structure. 

Now someone without any SW connection wants to catch up to franchise. If he starts from OT, they are old with very bad CGI and acting. That aura that SW has in anglo world is not there. That's what my most, actually almost every friend complained about. 

Start with PT, and you are watching 3 of the worst made blockbusters ever. 

Start with new movies and you are feeling nothing towards that iconic music or charcters, already established in OT. They should have soft reboot the franchise kinda like F&F. But that would have made fans angry. Disney should not have been greedy and let lucasfilm follow it's original plans.

IMHO sticking (American) Asian and Latino actors have far less impact to OS box office, except they are originally from emerging markets themselves. Diversity is not one of the appeals or the reason why audience in emerging markets would buy tickets.
