Krissykins
Whew, the gap is now less than $200,000 despite Venom opening with $37m more mere days ago. Hopefully ASIB is #1 this weekend, but no doubt Venom will have a giant Friday and Saturday.

ASIB audiences skews older (25+), while Venom's audiences skews younger, (teens and college aged crowds who are in school on week days). So ASIB having stronger weekday grosses, while Venom will most likely have a stronger weekend grosses, makes sense.
Zakiyyah6
I'm predicting Venom to edge A Star is Born out but it's still pretty funny that Venom opened with almost twice as much as it's only 100 thousand ahead. Personally I hope that A Star is Born overtakes the film. A Star is Born does have a chance and anybody ignoring that is being a bit silly.
