Probably not. Thor LT took 2 months. So did Shang Chi. They short changed DSMoM. I am guessing they will keep this in the theaters until at least after MLK weekend-ESPECIALLY if it is approaching a landmark number (like $500 or $600 million domestic and/or $1 billion WW).

As somebody who didn't care for the first, this looks really good to me!! I am excited as heck. 

Then again, I thought the trailers for the first were great too....

 

What are we expecting for this box office wise? I think over 400 mil, maybe around 425

no, MOM opened at $187 and finished at $411. Ultron $191 finished at $459.

I still can't believe a second Strange movie opened that high. MOM's legs disappointed because people expected cameos galore.

More front-loaded than MOM or L&T? No.

 

My expectation is 2.6-2.8x OW.

This. MoM and ThLT's multipliers were absolutely pitiful.

 

There's even a chance at 3.0X. After this weekend, the tracking will go into full throttle mode.

When the first teaser came out and the only dialogue we heard was Angela Bassett, we were left with our jaws hanging. Since then (yeah, I know it's only short teasers and trailers), the dialogue we've heard has been........ummmmmmm.....well......you know.
