titanic2187
Passing 900m soon. Adding about 40m in the post-Oscar release . Total Lifetime Grosses Domestic: $216,024,805 24.1% + Foreign: $680,311,796 75.9% = Worldwide: $896,336,601 1
MaxAggressor
According to DHD the OS weekend came in at 3.5m. The CBO thread seems to indicate a 1.1m weekend over there. So that means the (OS-China) weekend was 2.4m which is higher than last weekend's (OS-China) figure.

Otherwise it is Lion King at 79m budget. The wildcard is Wolf Warriors 2, no idea on budget but made ~850m WW EDIT: Barnack found a budget, WW2 trumps BR for 800m Edited April 7, 2019 by feasby007
Valonqar
Oh wow, thanks for the data @Barnack and @Feasby0007 so once BR crosses 900M it's gonna be the cheapest 900M, no small feat!

The fact that it's the cheapest is not the impressive feat though... A biopic of a musical act made 900 MILLION DOLLARS that alone is just mind-boggling (even though I predicted its possibility a couple months ago ) Truly the closest performance to Titanic we've had since Avatar!

Stewart
In a massive shock turn of events in Japan, Bohemian Rhapsody is back in the top 10. Yesterday it was 8th, today it was 6th! A huge 47% increase from last week when everything else is roughly 20-40% down. Can it actually manage another top 10 this weekend? 1
